We consider working together with legal faculties in the German-speaking area and the support of students as our duty and an important part of our activities.

For this reason, we offer students writing their thesis the possibility to apply to have their thesis published free of charge.

The Ex Jure Support Programme for Thesis Writers

In the event of an interesting subject which is relevant to our publishing activity, we offer the prospective thesis writer the opportunity to publish, publicize and present their theses within the framework of a public event in the German-speaking area (Austria, Germany, Switzerland).

This also includes a 6-month period of training under normal conditions at the First Advisory Group, one of the largest trust companies and law offices in the Principality of Liechtenstein who are active world-wide.

Possible Topics for Theses

Theses on the following specialist themes are eligible for the Ex Jure Support Programme:

1. General questions concerning Liechtenstein law;
2. Liechtenstein foundation and trust law, international legal comparison;
3. Liechtenstein company law, international legal comparison;
4. Off-shore structures and strategies;
5. Holding companies;
6. International tax law;
7. International private law topics, particularly international law of inheritance.

Mode of Procedure and Selection Process

Individuals interested in participating in the Scheme should apply directly to directly to the Ex Jure publishing company or to the dean’s office of their faculty, providing personal data, details of their professional / legal activities to date and their thesis subject.

We shall then contact applicants for the scheme. If we are able to agree on a subject, time scales and framework conditions, we shall offer an author’s agreement, containing the specified services, to successful applicants.

No author’s royalties will be paid in addition to the specified services. Student trainees of the First Advisory Group are paid at the usual market conditions.
